Review of the journey to the center of the earth by Alexander
During the first week of school. I had read the Journey to the Center of the Earth by Jules Verne. There were 235 pages. It took me at least 3 days to read my book.
The main characters were Theodore, Harry, and Hans. Hans’s role in this book was to lead everyone and to build raft. Theodore role in the book was to find the map to the center of the earth and where to go. He was a geologist and knew how to find water. And Harry was Theodore’s nephew, who came on a trip with his uncle.
The book starts with Theodore finding the codded map in one of his books and Theodore a Harry were able to figure it out. They went through a volcano and a tunnel and in two weeks came out in a different world. The group saw dinosaurs and even a millions-year old skull. After they saw the skull they continued their journey, wondering around. While the team was walking, they found a cave and went through it.
At the end of their trip, Theodore, Harry and Hans were on a raft and they ended up in a volcano that was about to erupt. It was getting very hot-200F. when the volcano finally erupted they “Shot From The Mouth Of A Cannon” and landed on soft grass. They got on land and traveled home on a boat. After they got home harry got married and continued to work with his uncle.
I liked this book because there were lots of adventures and the book was amazing. When you read this book email me and we can talk about it.
