Albert Einstein is a world famous physicist who gave us the theory of relativity.
Albert Einstein was born on March 14, 1879 in Germany. He had a very large head and the people in his family thought that he was a monster. When he was five years old, he got very sick and his father showed him a pocket compass. That inspired him to become a scientist.
However, in 1895 he failed entrance exams to Swiss Federal Polytechnic School so he went to a trade school. A year later he was allowed to enter the university.
In 1955, after Einstein’s death, Dr. Harvey took Einstein’s brain home and kept it in a jar for 43 years. He did it without permission of Einstein’s family. Many years later, studies of his brain showed that his brain was different than most people’s brain.
Albert Einstein is still very famous today.
